Hurghada All Inclusive: Six 5 Star Hotels We Gladly Recommend

Hurghada has been the most dependable Red Sea destination for years, and one of the few places where you can plan sunshine in advance. The flight from Belgrade takes about three hours, the sea stays warm and clear for most of the year, and Egyptian hotels have brought the all inclusive concept close to perfection, with more restaurants, bars and pools than you can try in a week. Below we highlight six five star hotels from our offer that we recommend most often, from quiet adults only properties to large family resorts with aqua parks. All prices are for two people and include flights from Belgrade, transfers and all inclusive service. For a wider picture of neighbourhoods, beaches and excursions, see our destination page for Hurghada.

Steigenberger Makadi, adults only peace and quiet

If you are travelling as a couple and want a holiday without children running around, Steigenberger Makadi accepts only guests older than 16. It sits inside the Madinat Makadi resort zone, in the heart of a golf complex, so the atmosphere is calm and tidy, and a hotel shuttle runs to the sandy beach a kilometre and a half away. With only 93 units this is almost a boutique hotel by Egyptian standards. Rooms are spacious at around 46 square metres, overlooking the garden, pool or golf course, while executive suites of about 82 square metres come with private pools. Hurghada airport is 32 kilometres away. The package starts from 1875 euros for two people.

Amarina Queen Resort & Aqua Park, a new hotel built for families

Amarina Queen opened in 2023 as the youngest member of a chain known for good service and rich facilities. It lies on its own sandy beach with a sand and rock entry into the water, and if you prefer to jump straight into deeper sea, there is a pontoon. The hotel has 286 rooms, standard ones of 33 square metres and superior ones of 35 square metres take two adults and a child, and there are proper family rooms as well. The aqua park inside the resort keeps children busy all day, which makes this our first recommendation for families in Hurghada. Prices start from 1866 euros for two people.

Jaz Palmariva Beach Resort, gardens and a seaside promenade

Jaz Palmariva is the resort you remember for its lush, well kept greenery and flowers that line the way to a lovely sandy beach. Accommodation is spread across two main two storey buildings and ten bungalows right by the sea, 505 units in total, so you can choose between the buzz around the main pool and a quieter corner closer to the shore. The Makadi Promenade with shops and cafes is a short walk away, and boat trips leave for the national park on Giftun Island. The airport is about 35 kilometres away. The package is available from 2018 euros for two people.

Creek Hotel & Residence, a taste of El Gouna

El Gouna is the most polished part of the Egyptian coast, a town of lagoons and marinas that feels like a Mediterranean resort transplanted to the Red Sea. Creek Hotel & Residence stands in the very heart of El Gouna, on a private sandy beach with a well arranged swimming area, and the famous Abu Tig Marina with its restaurants and bars is an eight minute drive away. Sunbeds, umbrellas and towels on the hotel beach are free, and for a small transfer fee guests can also use the Zuni and Zeitouna beaches. An important detail for parents, two children under 12 stay free of charge. The price is from 1961 euros for two people.

Stella Makadi Gardens Resort & Spa, a large resort in Makadi Bay

Stella Makadi Gardens is a classic large Egyptian resort with 721 units divided into standard and family rooms, all with a veranda, balcony or terrace. It sits in the Makadi Bay area, and guests use the beach of the sister hotel Stella Makadi Beach about a kilometre away, reached by a free shuttle bus that runs throughout the day. Slide lovers should know that the Nunia Aquarena water attractions carry a mandatory surcharge, so factor that cost in when planning. The airport is 30 kilometres away and the modern Sahl Hasheesh district about 18. Packages start from 1984 euros for two people.

Sentido Caribbean World Resort Soma Bay, Caribbean flair

Sentido Caribbean World is built in Caribbean style and lies in Soma Bay, on a sandy beach almost a kilometre long, considered by many one of the finest in the wider Hurghada region. The complex counts 604 rooms and apartments, 150 of them renovated for the 2025 season, with spacious superior and deluxe rooms of 50 to 55 square metres and swim up rooms opening straight onto the pool. Families should note the promotion under which two children stay free in superior garden view and swim up rooms, valid until the end of August 2026. The price is from 1983 euros for two people.

How to choose the right hotel

The first question we ask our guests is who they are travelling with. We point couples without children to Steigenberger Makadi, families with younger kids to Amarina Queen or Sentido because of the free child stays, and guests who enjoy dinners and evenings outside the hotel to Creek in El Gouna. The second question is timing. July and August are the hottest and most expensive months, while May, June, September and October offer the same sea with smaller crowds, and Hurghada stays pleasant through the winter as well. The prices in this text are starting prices and change with dates and availability, so get in touch and we will check the current offer for your dates and help you hit the right hotel and the right week on the first try.
