Majorca has quietly become one of the easiest Mediterranean islands to reach from Belgrade. A direct Air Serbia flight lands you in Palma in the early evening, a transfer takes you to your hotel on the Playa de Palma coast, and the next morning you wake up on a five kilometer sandy beach. What makes this charter stand out from most summer programs is the flexibility: you are not locked into a single seven day rhythm. Here is how the program on Majorca actually works.
Flights and stay lengths
All rotations use the same comfortable afternoon timing: flight JU594 leaves Belgrade at 17:15 and lands in Palma at 19:50, while the return JU595 departs at 20:35 and arrives in Belgrade at 23:00. You lose no beach time on the last day. Saturday departures give you the classic 7 nights. Thursday and Sunday departures allow longer combinations of 10 or 11 nights, which is a genuinely rare option among charter programs and perfect if one week always feels too short. Be at the airport at least two and a half hours before takeoff and reconfirm the schedule 24 hours before flying.
What is included and what is not
The price covers the round trip flight, airport taxes of about 44 euros, group transfers between Palma airport and the hotel, the confirmed hotel stay and a Serbian speaking representative on the island. Baggage is 23 kg checked plus 8 kg cabin per person. Paid separately: travel insurance, which we recommend both as health and cancellation cover, and the Balearic eco tax charged to guests over 16 at the hotel, from 2.20 euros per person per night in simpler hotels up to 4.40 euros in 5 star ones. Babies under 2 travel for 56 euros without a seat and get 10 kg of baggage for the stroller.
The hotels, honestly described
Our Majorca hotels line the bay southeast of Palma, between Can Pastilla and El Arenal, all close to the airport, so transfers are short. The premium pick is HM Ayron Park, a modern design 5 star and an adults only property, just 50 m from the Playa de Palma beach and a 10 minute bus ride from Palma itself. Rooms are contemporary, around 20 square meters, some with partial sea views. If you want a stylish, child free week, this is the one, from 3590 euros for two people.
Hotel Nautic sits right on the promenade connecting Can Pastilla and Playa de Palma, in the first line to the sea, 200 m from the sandy beach and surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. The airport is only 2 km away, Palma 7 km. Rooms overlook either the atrium or the sea. From 2230 euros for two people.
Hotel Java stands at the start of the famous 5 km Playa de Palma beach in Can Pastilla, 60 m from the sand and right on the promenade. With 249 rooms designed for two adults and a child, and an excellent bus link to Palma just 9 km away, it works very well for families, from 2330 euros for two people.
For a livelier crowd there is Whala Fun in El Arenal, renovated in 2019, 100 m from S'Arenal beach and next to the marina. Breakfast is a buffet in the main restaurant and the Sky Bar by the pool is where afternoons tend to stretch into evenings. From 2370 euros for two people.
Booking tips
A 40 percent deposit confirms the booking, usually within two working days, the balance is due 21 days before departure, and interest free installments are available. Since arrival is around 20:00, ask us about dinner on the first evening at your chosen hotel. And if you can take the 10 or 11 night option, do it: Majorca deserves time for Palma's old town, the Serra de Tramuntana villages and at least one lazy day with no plan at all.
