Overview

From 08 January 2026, the main restaurant at the Sunny Days El Palacio hotel will be renovated. The works are expected to last 2 months. Guests have at their disposal the a la carte restaurants, as well as the main restaurants of the sister hotels Palma and Mirette Family. NOTE: The Sunny Days Resort Spa & Aqua Park hotel, its rooms and hotel services are described according to the official categorisation of Egypt at the time of publication of the Programme. The food, comfort and quality of service at the hotel depend primarily on the price of the arrangement, hotel occupancy and categorisation determined by local national regulations, and are beyond the supervision and influence of the Organiser. Location: Sunny Days Resort Spa & Aqua Park is located in the northern part of Hurghada, between the old centre El Dahar and the new marina, 4 km from the centre of Sakala and 10 km from Hurghada airport. Since 2019, Sunny Days El Palacio and Sunny Days De Mirette have formed one hotel complex, Sunny Days Resort Spa & Aqua Park. It covers an area of 145.000 m² and has two beaches: Laguna sandy beach and Coral beach. Laguna sandy beach is a sandy natural lagoon with a gradual entrance to the water, extending into the hotel complex, and is a nicely arranged beach for swimming. At the end of the lagoon there is a coral reef in deep water, suitable for snorkelling and diving. The Coral beach is ideal for snorkelling and diving (swimming shoes are required). Rooms: Sunny Days Resort Spa & Aqua Park has 1220 rooms, each with a bathroom, hair dryer, TV, telephone, mini fridge, air conditioning, safe, balcony or terrace. On offer are: standard rooms (30 m²) in the Palacio part of the hotel (with sea view, lagoon view, or rooms at the back with street view). Standard rooms have a bathroom with a bathtub, while premium rooms (32 m²) are in the Palma part of the hotel, have a garden or sea view and bathrooms with a shower. Hotel facilities: The Sunny Days Resort Spa & Aqua Park hotel has 3 main restaurants (Mirette, Andalusia and Dana), 6 a la carte restaurants (Orca, Al Dente, Layalina, Chopsticks, Seasons Terrace and Tacos), a pizzeria-snack bar, 3 lobby bars, 3 beach bars (1 on the Coral beach and 2 on the Laguna beach), 4 pool bars, the Light Blue Bar, Marina Disco, Cacao bar, Billiard Bar and an internet cafe. Additional facilities at the Sunny Days Resort Spa & Aqua Park include a disco, free wi fi in the lobby, souvenir shops, a rent a car service, a gold shop, a currency exchange, an ATM, a hairdressing salon, and laundry and ironing service. Sport and entertainment: The Sunny Days Resort Spa & Aqua Park hotel features 4 outdoor pools (3 heated in winter), the Water Aqua Slides water park (15 slides for adults and children), a beach volleyball court, mini football, table tennis, darts, billiards, a gym, a diving centre, various water sports, water polo, and squash and tennis courts. The spa centre includes a sauna, massage rooms, a jacuzzi and a Turkish bath. For the youngest: a children's pool, playground and mini club.
