Overview

Location: Hotel Skiathos Palace is set in a pine forest, above the road, on a rise offering a view of one of the most famous beaches in Europe, Koukounaries beach, which is 250 m away, as well as Maratha beach, which is also 250 m from the hotel. Transport to these beaches is organised by hotel shuttle bus running until 6 pm. Skiathos Town is 11 km away, and Skiathos airport 13 km. The island of Skiathos has an excellently organised bus service, running regularly until midnight; each stop is a different place or beach, and the bus stop is right below the hotel on the road. Rooms: Hotel Skiathos Palace has a total of 258 rooms. The agency offers standard ground floor back view rooms, standard back view rooms and standard sea view rooms. Standard ground floor back view rooms are on the ground floor with a view behind the hotel and were renovated for the 2023 season. They do not have a classic terrace but open onto a platform in front of the room, enclosed on the left and right sides. Standard back view rooms have a view behind the hotel and a terrace, are located on the upper floors and were renovated for the 2023 season. Sea view rooms have a sea view and a terrace. Standard garden view rooms are on the ground floor and can have an enclosed terrace or a terrace with direct access to the garden, facing the front of the hotel. Superior room Koukounaries beach view rooms overlook the famous Koukounaries beach. Executive room panoramic sea view rooms have a panoramic sea view and sunbeds on the terrace. Each room has a bathroom with a bath, except the ground floor rooms which have a shower cabin, a hairdryer, TV, telephone, air conditioning, fridge, kettle and terrace. Hotel facilities: Besides the main restaurant serving national and international cuisine, guests can refresh themselves in the lobby bar with a piano, the snack bar by the pool and the beach bar, or enjoy the rooftop restaurant. Additional facilities include a safe at the reception (for an extra charge), a laundry service, beach towel service (free), currency exchange, shop, rent a car and internet centre. The hotel also has a free shuttle bus to Skiathos Town, which must be booked in advance. Sport and entertainment: The hotel has a pool, and guests can enjoy tennis, while the youngest have a children's playground. In the hotel's surroundings there are various options for entertainment and recreation such as horse riding, hiking and a diving school, and nearby there is a market for basic supplies as well as two tavernas. Various water sports are available on the beach. Skiathos Town, 11 km from the hotel and reachable by bus, has numerous bars, markets, tavernas, restaurants and souvenir shops.
