NOTE FOR GUESTS: During the stay, occasional construction works on neighboring buildings and the hotel may be heard (until April 2026), which may affect the view from certain rooms. Location: Hotel Preluna is located 500 m from the center of Sliema, across from a private rocky beach (150 m), on a 3 km long seaside promenade. Cafes, restaurants and shops are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, and a local bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Hotel Preluna is 12 km from the airport, 5 km from the capital Valletta and 3 km from St. Julians. Rooms: The Preluna hotel has 280 rooms. Standard rooms (19 m2, max 3 people, two separate beds or a double bed) have a bathroom, hairdryer, TV, wi fi, telephone, internet, tea and coffee maker, air conditioning, safe, mini bar, and a balcony or terrace. Economy rooms have a double bed, bathroom, air conditioning, TV and a coffee or tea maker, but some rooms have no outdoor furniture. Hotel facilities: Hotel Preluna has a main restaurant and 2 a la carte restaurants with Italian (Sciantusi) and Japanese cuisine (Sakura, Japanese Cuisine and Lounge and Ichiban Japanee Burgers), the Surf & Turf Grill at the Preluna Beach Club, the Skyroom Coctail Bar and Grill with a wonderful sea view over dinner, and the La Piazza bar in the hotel lobby, as well as an internet center, shops, a hair salon and a currency exchange. Sport and entertainment: The Beach Club, separated from Hotel Preluna by a street, is reserved exclusively for hotel guests. On its own rocky beach, guests have a sun terrace with free sunbeds, parasols and towels, an outdoor seawater pool, a children's pool and a grill bar. The Spa center includes an indoor pool, 2 hydromassage tubs, a sauna, rooms for various treatments and a fitness center. Various water sports are available on the beach, along with a diving school at the Malta Blue club. Malta is one of the best diving destinations in the world, with crystal clear water surrounding the 3 islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino, offering an adventure for everyone, from experienced divers to beginners.
